HEINEKEN INVITES CONSUMERS TO BRING THEIR PLUS ONE



WHITE PLAINS, NY (August 20, 2018) - This fall, Heineken USA (HUSA) is offering ‘Heineken Plus One’, a bundle pack program that allows shoppers to select one Heineken 12-pack plus a small-pack of the company’s Emerging Brands including Newcastle Brown Ale, Red Stripe, Tiger, Birra Moretti and more. The offer includes a $5 digital MIR with bundle purchase.

Dave DiLoreto, Commercial Marketing Channel Manager for HUSA commented, “Heineken USA understands that LDA+ shoppers who frequent large format retailer outlets are typically looking to fulfill two needs: stocking up on large pack formats of their favorite, tried and true premium brands for party planning occasions while also ‘treasure seeking’, or browsing for unique, exploratory styles to expand their repertoire. Our ‘Heineken Plus One’ program bridges these two needs, creating a total beverage solution. Shoppers can stock up for the party with their favorite brand while exploring something new with limited risk.”

‘Heineken Plus One’ will be available nationally in large format liquor chains from September through November this year. POS including case stacker, header card and tuck cards will be available to promote the program with shoppers at retail locations.
